It's Right-Wing to Love Your Family

Of course liberals love their families-- but loving your family isn't liberal.

In response to a recent Cartoons Hate Her piece, I said this:

I honestly didn’t think this would even be controversial but apparently it was.

In this post I will lay out the evidence that all American politics is actually just a debate about family. If you think loving your family is far-and-away the most important thing, you’re gonna go MAGA. If you think family is not so important, you’re lib. I’m not gonna belabor why I think this has happened, I am simply going to show that it has happened. Loving your opposite-sex spouse is, in the year of our Lord 2025, a shockingly right-wing act.

I’m paywalling almost this entire post because I’m a money-grubbing good-for-nothing ratbastard capitalist and with a headline like I just threw up I bet I can squeeze a lot of blood from you stones.
